SLAM DUNK DROPS FIRST WAVE OF BANDS FOR SLAM DUNK ‘25
Slam Dunk Festival, the UK’s go-to rock event, is officially coming back in 2025, and they just dropped the first round of artists set to hit the stage. After what Dork Magazine called a “triumphant” event this summer, they’re coming back with a line-up that's going to be huge. If you’re into pop-punk, emo, metal, ska—basically anything that rocks—you’ll want to catch A Day To Remember, Electric Callboy, Neck Deep, and over 20 more world-class acts when the festival hits next May.
Mark your calendars: Slam Dunk lands at Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 24th, then heads to Leeds’ Temple Newsam on Sunday, May 25th. Tickets drop Friday, September 6th at 10 am via their website, so set your alarms.
Fans have been calling for this, and Slam Dunk has finally delivered—A Day To Remember is finally making their debut. Fresh off a North American tour, they’ll be hitting the UK stage for the first time in 2025. “We’re really excited to get back to the UK, and to play Slam Dunk for the first time,” the band shared.
Electric Callboy is also on the bill. These guys have been shaking up the scene with their metalcore-meets-electronicore style and are known for live shows that seriously bring it. And if you’re a Neck Deep fan, you’re in luck—they’re coming back after tearing it up with a sold-out show at Alexandra Palace this year.
Alkaline Trio is locked in, too, ready to bring tracks from their 2024 album Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs alongside their fan-favorite hits. Slam Dunk is also hosting an exclusive UK reunion for AS IT IS, who’ll be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Never Happy, Ever After. Plus, get ready for the unapologetic energy of Yorkshire’s own Delilah Bon, Dream State from South Wales, and Graphic Nature—one of the fastest-rising nu-metal bands out there right now.
If you’re into emocore, Hit The Lights is a must-see. And if you haven’t already hopped on the Hot Mulligan bandwagon, Slam Dunk is the perfect place to catch their high-energy set, packed with catchy hooks. Knuckle Puck is also returning to celebrate ten years of their album Copacetic with a set that’s sure to unite the crowd.
Ska-punk veterans Less Than Jake will be bringing their legendary sound to the festival, while Mouth Culture is set to keep the momentum going after their breakout in 2023. Movements, who just dropped their anthemic single "Afraid To Die," will also be hitting the stage, giving fans a chance to catch their live show.
It’s been 20 years since New Found Glory dropped their game-changing album Catalyst, and they’ll be bringing all the pop-punk nostalgia with them. Slam Dunk also hosts rising stars like Bristol’s Split Chain, hardcore punks Stray From The Path, and The Ataris, who are still going strong after gaining cult status in the '90s. Rounding out this stacked lineup are The Starting Line, The Used, and Zebrahead, who’ve been on a roll with their latest single, “I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings.”
Slam Dunk Festival has been a staple in the UK rock scene since 2006, bringing together icons, legends, and breakthrough acts from around the world. Held across sprawling greenfield sites in Leeds and Hertfordshire, this fest is in a league of its own. NME calls it “one of the UK’s most exciting young festivals,” and it’s been praised by DIY and The Hoot Leeds for its killer lineups. With 2025 shaping up to be another massive year, grab your tickets ASAP—this one’s not to be missed.
