WEEKLY MUSIC ROUND UP

Another week has passed, and what a week it’s been! We may have forgotten to post our column in the past two weeks and missed significant releases. We are back with another weekly round-up, and this time, we have introduced a playlist for you.

We have new releases from Friedberg with ”Hardcore Workout Queen”, Soccer Mommy that pleases the crowd with the sweet song ”Driver”, August Burns Red goes hard on ”Exhumed”, and Teddy Swims gives us an indie delight with ”Bad Dreams”.

While Australian heartthrobs Slowly Slowly come in hot with ”Forgiving Spree”, how about The Offspring taking the piss with ”Come To Brazil”? Somebody has been looking at their Instagram comments. Charlotte Sands covers AFI’s ”Miss Murder”, and we don’t hate it. Legendary Less Than Jake pumps out another single with ”Brand New Day”, while Show Me The Body teams up with High Vis on ”Stomach,” and that’s a certified banger. Set It Off sends us into a good mood with the catchy ”Creating Monsters.” this song will be added to our Halloween playlist. While Chrissy Costanza makes our hearts melt with ”I Tried To Act Your Age”, there is no denying that we look forward to her solo album, and Certain Death has us moving with ”NHR” and transports us back to the 70s with their new single. As I Lay Dying teamed up with Alex Terrible and Tom Barber on ”We Are The Dead”, and if you’re into As I Lay Dying, this may mark as one of their strongest releases in a few years. Cumgirl8 continues to tease with ”ahhhh! hhhh! (I don’t wanna go)” ahead of their anticipated album, the 8th cumming.

These are the albums and EPs that dropped this past week and had a heavy influence on us. First up, we have our fave Penny Bored, who we had the pleasure of interviewing. I’M BORED has four songs that we have much more on, so come back Monday to read our thoughts. At the same time, Patrick Hardy comes in strong as a contender for our AOTY list. Meanwhile, Zetra released their debut album, which features Serena Cherry, Svalbard, Kælan Mikla, Sólveig Matthildur, Unto Others, and Gabriel Franco. Sydney Sprague released a deluxe edition of Somebody in Hell Loves You, with new songs, and it’s serving cunt. And let’s not forget COIN; they return with I’m Not Afraid Of Music Anymore, making us fall back in love with them and their sound.
